Welcome to Mary Catherine's Antiques, located at the "north" end of the Fabulous Short North Art's District in Columbus, Ohio. The shop was founded in the late 1970s by Eva Ricci Mahaffey. One of the first to invest in and promote the area as a unique art and retail shopping experience, the antique shop Eva started with her daughter Melaine Mahaffey remains a High St. landmark and destination. The two large storerooms encompassing over 2500 square feet offer a general line of antique and vintage furniture and accessories, dating from the early 19th century up to mid- 20th century modern and occasionally funky 1970s kitsch. Mary Catherine's also sells lamps, mirrors, paintings, prints and frames, pottery and glass. Rounding out the inventory are architectural items such as mantles and stained glass windows, jewelry, books and anything odd or unusual that we can find to make our store an interesting and fun place to visit. Celebrating 30 years, owner buyer Melaine Mahaffey is available to assist customers with their diverse buying and selling needs. |
